A tiny friend, shaped from glass and inspired by the stories we grew up with.

The Hedgehog Necklace is an original design by Risato Glass Studio, created from our fondness for one of nature’s most endearing little creatures. For many of us, hedgehogs have appeared in childhood stories and illustrations. Small, curious companions wandering through gardens and forests. This necklace turns that familiar little character into a wearable glass friend.

Fernwood dresses our little hedgehog in layers of luminous forest green. Each individually sculpted glass spine shifts between translucent emerald, soft fern green, and deeper woodland tones. As light passes through the glass, the tiny spines glow with subtle variations of color, giving the hedgehog a lively, almost dew-covered appearance.

No two hedgehogs will ever be exactly alike.
